A baseball graphic appears at the top alongside the PATF logo. The event is the Philadelphia Phillies vs. Tampa Bay Rays on September 25, 2026, with first pitch at 6:40 p.m. Tickets are located in Section 416 and cost $46.41 for general admission or $42.32 for an ADA seat. Limited accessible seating is available on the 300 level. The flyer includes a QR code and a registration link https://forms.office.com/r/6H9W8V1jMp, notes that space is limited, and states that the registration deadline is August 6. The design features a beige background with navy blue and white diagonal stripes, orange accents, and orange headline text.

PATF is hosting a fundraiser with the Philadelphia Phillies! Join us on September 25, 2026, at 6:40 PM for the Phillies versus Rays game. This game also celebrates Deaf Awareness Night, and the National Anthem will be performed in American Sign Language by students from the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf.

General Admission seats will be in section: 416

Price: $46.41 per ticket

We have five Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) seats available on a first-come, first-serve basis. We have made every effort to put those seats as close to the section reserved for General Admission seats but recognize they will not be immediately adjacent.

ADA seats will be in various sections in the 300 level.

Price: $42.32 per ticket

Register today by filling out this form.

We will then email you our PayPal so you can purchase the tickets. If you do not receive an email, please make sure to check your spam/junk. As the game gets closer, we will send you your tickets through the Ballpark app. Please make sure the email you use is the email associated with your Ballpark app.

Last day to register will be August 6, 2026.

All money raised through this event will benefit PATF’s programs, so that we can continue to provide financial loans for assistive technology, resource navigation, and financial education.

If you have any questions, please email Mary Kate at mkcassidy@patf.us.

Aida Is Here! Our AI Chatbot is Now Live on Our Website

Snapshot of the PATF’s Aida chatbot homepage showing the welcome message, navigation options, and question input field.

In 2025, we invited our community to help bring our AI chatbot to life through The Great AI Chatbot Persona Search, a competition to help create Aida's personality and identity. An advisory committee consisting of five people with different disabilities provided input on the accessibility design to ensure that the chatbot is accessible to everyone. Before introducing Aida to everyone, members of the disability community from various backgrounds tested Aida for accessibility, accuracy, and user-friendliness. Afterall, Aida can't replace our amazing team, but she needs to be as kind and as friendly as we are.

Thanks to all of your valuable feedback, we're excited to announce that Aida is now available on the PATF website! Aida can help you quickly find information about PATF's programs and other funding resources available to help purchase assistive technology.

We would like to thank the Accessible Smart Tech Lab within the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Rehabilitation Science and Technology for partnering with us on this project. Members of the Pittsburgh team include Dr. Dan Ding, Gina Novario, and Adit Shah. Since beginning our collaboration in September 2024, their expertise, innovation, and commitment to accessibility have been valuable in bringing Aida to life.

Give Aida a try the next time you visit our website!

Please Join Us in Welcoming Our Intern

PATF is excited to announce that we will have an intern, Matthew, working with us starting July 21st through PA Office of Vocational Rehabilitation’s program, Work Experience for Adults (WEXA). WEXA provides adults with disabilities who have limited work experience with the opportunity to gain job skills and strengthen their resumes through internships.

Outside of the internship, Matthew enjoys listening to music, playing video games, and painting miniatures. Since Matthew has limited work experience, he hopes this internship will give him the opportunity to explore his potential in the workplace. He is eager to build confidence, gain hands-on experience, and find success in a professional environment.

Events We Have Attended

PATF attended various events over the past several weeks. We enjoyed the opportunity to meet with people and share more information about our programs and how we may be able to assist people with disabilities. Whether it is extending a loan for the purchase of assistive technology, assisting with navigating resources that are available to people, or providing financial education for empowerment, PATF may be able to assist you with your goals, and we are happy to connect to see how we may be able to do that.

PATF held a fundraiser at Evil Genius Beer Co. on June 25th. We thank Evil Genius for providing us with a space to host this event and donating $1 for every beer sold during our time there. We had a highly anticipated raffle basket sponsored by Total Mobility Services, Weavers Way, and The Tomato Shack. Without their support, we would not be able to carry out our important mission.
