So a few months back we decided to get rid of Lyca Mobile here at the store.

Reason?
  • Customer service is terrible
  • Dealer support is terrible
  • Customer service doesn't open until 11am

Trying to get assistance from dealer support is like pulling teeth. Every time I would call, I would 90% of the time get into an argument with support because they are unwilling to help me assist my customer. To help get the account # for the customer they want to know the PUK code. I don't think customers pay attention to that and tend to just throw the SIM card away. The customer tries to verify by the plan, the amount of the plan, the day of payment and other ways, but for some reason that either fails or they won't accept it. Plus if you succeed in verifying your account information, it will take about 2 hour to receive your account #.

Not worth the frustration and hassle.

And this is why I recommend my customer to get Ultra Mobile if they are looking to get Lyca Mobile. Much better service, better customer support as well as dealer plus very competitive international rates.

You can also check here if your device is compatible with Ultra Mobile. Just keep in mind that if it is not compatible with Ultra Mobile it will not be compatible with any T-Mobile mvno carriers including GoSmart Mobile, Lyca Mobile, MetroPCS & Simple Mobile.

If you want to port over to Ultra Mobile, come in today. Just Lyca before you come because I won't call them for you. And remember that I will be off next week so no activations or port-ins next week.

However if you need a sim card with a new number only reach out to me on WhatsApp and I can help you. However this would be for new number and you may have to wait a bit before the sim card gets activated, but it will get activated within that day.
