From One End of Fort Smith to the Other, There are Great Eating and Entertainment Options
News from the Downtown Fort Smith Business Association

Garrison Avenue is beginning to become alive again with events and new exciting changes.
The exciting change is that The Downtown Fort Smith Business Association has absorbed with the Fort Smith Bar & Restaurant Association. In March, the two organizations voted unanimously to join forces. This was in made in design to help gather all the Downtown Fort Smith resources together to help promote the downtown area. With this, The FSDBA is able help bring more to the table for the region’s existing customers and bring back any inactive customers.
May 7th & 8th will be first major event to come to Fort Smith since the beginning of Covid. This event brings thousands of folks from all areas of the country to our little diamond called “Garrison Avenue”. From the talk of the town. The community is excited to have this major event back to the area.
In July, Garrison Avenue will be alive for the Annual Mayor’s Firework Celebration. Then beginning in late fall is beginning of the Christmas Season with the Santa House and Christmas in Pendergraft Park.
The most wonderful part of the Downtown Fort Smith is that folks can come downtown to shop our amazing retail stores. Then have dinner, catch a concert, then relax at one of our bars to wind down the night. There is so much to do downtown within walking distance.
Great things are happening in Downtown Fort Smith!!

Downtown Fort Smith Business Association

The Fort Smith Downtown Business Association (FSDBA) is proud to present the new distrx app!

distrx is a free location-aware mobile app. As mobile users enter our district (Downtown Fort Smith), they receive a welcome greeting, and the app opens to reveal everything a visitor wants to know about our community: area events, parking locations, local attractions, map, and a business directory by category, which is one of the best parts. Best of all, when the same visitor travels to another distrx community, the same mobile app transforms to become the app for that community.
