Help Grow our Education & Animal Programs
Help us refresh our education garden spaces and facilities, provide a better year-round home for our bunnies and add a 2nd flock of field-fertilizing chickens to the farm! Our farm crew is building new picnic tables for gathering, garden beds for learning, plus double-decker bunny hutches and a mobile chicken coop for our animals. Make a donation and Leave your Legacy on the farm, with a custom dedication plaque to be placed on each. Thanks to our generous donors, opportunities are selling quickly, so act fast!
Get Involved in our Maple Production Process!
This season's unusually warm weather has maple producers across the Northeast starting the maple season early. WCVB News Channel 5 reached out to us for more insight. Land's Sake's Farm Manager, Brendan Murtha, walked the crew through the forest to show them our tapping process, and then led them over the the Sugar Shack to show how we turn the sap into maple syrup! Check out this news clip that aired this past Monday, February 13th!
Interested in getting involved with our process? We could use your help! Volunteers are needed to assist our crew with collecting and emptying sap buckets. This. need is weather-based and will vary over the next few weeks. Sign up as a one-day volunteer below and we'll be in touch when Mother Nature says it's time!
