Get Kids Excited about STEM Education and Careers!
Add to Your Calendar: Saturday, October 26, 2019
The North Bay Science Discovery Day is a FREE event to get kids excited about education and careers in STEM. It is funded by generous sponsors throughout the North Bay so that families can attend for free, and kids can experience the fun of "hands-on" science. This upcoming event -- our ninth year -- will be held at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa. There will be over 100 hands-on fun exhibitor booths.

Did you know that there are several schools that bring exciting hands-on exhibits to share? You, too, can be an exhibitor. San Marin High School, Petaluma High School, and Sonoma Country Day School have regularly had powerful and exciting STEM activities for kids to experience. Robotics teams and science clubs show off their accomplishments. If your STEM educators have exciting ideas for an exhibit, please contact Lyman for details on being an exhibitor.

Here is our brand new student flyer in PDF format for the 2019 event. Please share with all STEM educators to include in their plans for next school year.

FYI, the PDF flyer is in both English and Spanish

Many thanks to our sponsors and partners! They are the reason the North Bay Science Discovery Day is free to all. This event could not take place without them!
If there are STEM Coordinators or teachers of STEM subjects in your district who should know about this event, please add their email. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Patty Alushin at  [email protected] .
