Registration for summer classes begins this week!
Check your registration date in InSite, under the “Registration” tile. Knowing your date, putting it on your calendar, and registering as soon as you can is the best way to help you get in classes that may fill up.
Taking classes over the summer is a great way to keep moving toward your goals. Most summer classes in both Pleasant Hil and San Ramon will be held online, but a few will have on-campus meetings. Be sure to read the course schedule notes when considering what classes you plan to take. The course notes will say if the class is on a campus, if it has live meetings on Zoom, or if it is online without any live meetings.
Food resources
DVC recognizes that a hungry brain cannot support healthy learning and we want to help. The Food Bank of Contra Costa is partnering with DVC to distribute food boxes every month.
You can also visit the Food Pantry on the Pleasant Hill Campus Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and pick up fresh cooked “meals to go” provided by DVC’s Culinary program on Thursdays and Fridays.
Attend the Opportunity and Career Fair
The Opportunity and Career Fair will be hosted virtually, on Handshake, April 7 for all DVC, CCC, and LMC students. Join us to learn about jobs and internships directly from employers and organizations who are hiring right now. Connect with top companies like Amazon, Save Mart, and Landmark Events at this district-wide event. Register today and find out more on Handshake!

Success Challenge
Evaluate your weekly calendar. Are you putting enough, regular time into studying? See if you can add one extra hour of schoolwork every week to your calendar between now and the end of the term. This extra hour can make a big difference and can help reduce stress that arises from procrastination.
