Greetings!

Here are our latest updates. We are getting closer to ArtsVision Summer Camp! We currently have 50 student campers and 8 high school interns registered for this year's program. Students are creating their audition videos and will soon be cast into their roles for "The Wiz, Jr." Under the watchful eye of Program Coordinator, McKinley Willis,Teaching Artists continue to create and deliver pre-camp programming and activities that are both challenging and fun for our Online Classes and Saturday Workshops. Our production team is preparing schedules and class outlines for delivery through streaming and live platforms during the two weeks of Camp (July 20-August 1st). We will kick off ArtsVision TV at the end of June on our ArtsVision YouTube Channel .

Funding the Program: As Camp grows near, we continue seeking contributions to finish funding this summer's programs. We are asking you, your family, or your business to consider contributing at one of the following sponsorship levels:
  • $50 Creative Arts Buckets (Activity Kits) going to homes. 50 needed)
  • Logo stickers on buckets (can also add your swag)
  • $200 Sponsor a Kid for camp
  • Free tickets to the online performances
  • Your logo/link and listed as Donor on our website
  • $500 Sponsor a Program (Guitar, Voice, Acting, Dance, Design/Tech)
  • Free tickets to the online (and in person) performances
  • Your logo/link and listed as Donor on our website
  • 1/4 Page sized add and link/logo on our program/playbill
  • $1,000 Production Sponsor for "The Wiz, Jr." (all above plus)
  • Free tickets to the online (and in-person) performances
  • 1/2 Page sized add/logo and link on our website
  • Your logo and link on our program/playbill for the production
  • Your name/logo on our Camp t-shirts
  • $5,000 Camp Sponsor (all above, plus)
  • Full Page Sized add in our Program/playbill for the production
  • Your name/logo on our Camp t-shirts

ArtsVision Introduces Mr. Andrew Eddy
Mr. Eddy currently teaches Professional Communications / Interpersonal Communications at Uplift Peak Preparatory High School in Dallas, Texas. He is a Graduate of Glenville State College with a Business Administration Degree. TEA teacher certifications include Speech 8-12, English 4-8, and SPED K-12. Professional memberships include the National Speech and Debate Association, Texas Forensic Association, National Catholic Forensic League, Pi Kappa Delta, as well as many local and state organizations. His passion is coaching high school speech and debate programs.

Meet Talented ArtsVision Youth Artist - Jayden Mays
Jayden Thomas Mays
Jayden performs "A Million Dreams" from The Greatest Showman @ The DFW Child Magazine "Best Summer Ever" Event this past February.
Jayden T. Mays is an energetic and loving 12 year old entering 7th grade this 2020-2021 school year at Cockrill Middle School in McKinney, Texas. He is on the A/B Honor Roll & his interests include singing, dancing and acting. Jayden’s musical performances include Into the Woods, Jr., The Lion King, Jr. & HairSpray Jr. with ArtsVision as well as Attack of the Pom Pom Zombies & At the Mall with Cockrill Middle School Theatre Department. In addition Jayden is a member of One Community Church where he has ministered in the Children’s Choir, Children’s Dance Team & Children & Youth Praise Teams. Jayden looks forward to ArtsVision camp every year and enjoys learning new songs and performing with fellow peers.  He is the youngest son of Mr. & Mrs Cedric & Fannysteen Mays and the youngest grandson of St. Paul UMC’s Lifetime Member, Mrs. Macy Mays-Roberson & Mrs. FD Givens.

Auditions for ArtsVision TV closes this week. If you are still interested in being an "online host" email your introduction video by Sunday, June 21st, to [email protected] (Video should include your first and last name, grade, school and why you want to be a host! Hosts will be introduced next week!

Meet Jaecelyn Merserberg
ArtsVision Board Vice President
Jaecelyn Merseberg is one of DFW's most sought after PR/Branding Experts. She’s an Influencer and Lifestyle Expert with a knack for anything Posh, Over-The-Top and Decadent. Merseberg is the creative force behind I Am Royalty Radio's The Ultimate Takeover with Lady Jaecelyn . Recognized as one of Dallas' 40 Most Influential People, in 2014, the mayor of Addison, TX, Mayor Todd Meier, proclaimed on behalf of the City Council the day of September 11th “Lady Jaecelyn Merseberg Day”. Lady J currently serves as the Dallas Area Director of Society of Women Who Love Shoes, a non-profit dedicated to helping individuals affected by Domestic Violence. This is Jaecelyn's 2nd year as a volunteer with ArtsVision.
