As a part of our effort to continue with Operation Restore Trust, we will be hosting a weekly Virtual Town Hall on our Facebook page. We will be highlighting each division over the coming weeks. This week Tina Ruffin, the Director of Community Services, will be sitting down with Executive Director Bob Anderson to discuss LIHEAP. We hope to use this to connect with our clients and partners to learn more about what they think we are doing well and what we could do better. We will be collecting questions from clients every week and answer as many questions that come in live during our time. We hope that each of you will be able to join us tonight and support your
Division Directors in the coming weeks.

Employee Survey a Huge Success
Thank you to everyone who participated in the employee survey sent by the American Public Human Services Association from November through December. Nearly 1,300 employees responded, which is roughly 80 percent of the MDHS workforce! Your honest and candid responses will allow APHSA to assist us in developing a strategic plan that will make MDHS more responsive to you and a better place for you to work. We will provide you with the results of this survey in the coming month.

Coming up - Women in the Workplace Month
Throughout March, we will be highlighting Women in the Workplace. If you know someone you would like to nominate or would like to nominate yourself; please email us at mdhs.communictions@mdhs.ms.gov.
When emailing your submission, please provide a picture and a brief write up. I have provided an example below. We will need these submissions no later than February 15th. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your time, and have a great day!
Example: Today, we celebrate Lucy. Lucy loves her job at MDHS because she knows she is helping someone become self-sufficient and showing compassion to her clients. The advice she would share with women entering this career would be to "listen and learn."
