Gregory Dunning Director of Talent Acquisition

We are pleased to announce that Gregory Dunning has been promoted to MasTec Industrial’s (MIC) Director of Talent Acquisition. Gregory joined MIC as a Craft Recruiting Manager in July 2022 and then in October stepped in as Interim Director. During this interim period, his proven leadership and outstanding performance led to him moving into the permanent role as Director.

Safety Updates

CE&I Safety

Read the CE&I Safety Newsletter to learn more about how the group plans to reduce Environmental and Safety incidents. Overall, the severity of injuries this year was down, but the group did not meet its Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) goal for the year. This was due to heat related illnesses and eye injuries but the Safety team has put a plan in place to address these injuries and help protect our people.

Holiday Events

Newman 6 Adopted Salvation Army Angels

The El Paso Newman 6 Team collected gifts for the Salvation Army Angels and were able to get the kids everything they needed and wished for: clothes, shoes, toys, bicycles, scooters, etc. An average of $350 - $375 was contributed to each child, which bring us to an approximate total of $7,300 - $7,800. Thank you to all the employees who made the Angel wishes possible! #Teamwork

Wreaths Across America

A group of participants from the El Paso Newman 6 site participated in Wreaths Across America. The group was honored to place 32 memorial wreaths on the gravesites of veterans and their spouses. They also attended a ceremony that included laying of wreaths for each service branch of the United States Armed Forces and POW/MIA. #Teamwork

Genesis Alkali’s Holiday Lunch

Genesis Alkali team enjoyed a holiday lunch provided by Don Pedro’s out of Green River WY. Anthony Haar has been the face behind the camera as a champion for our Beekeeper page and for a fun moment he acted as 'Where is Waldo' during the luncheon.

Special thanks to our Project Managers: Gregory Lombardo and Terry McQuary for providing us with this Holiday Meal. Management also provided a Team Building opportunity offsite for our Leadership in the Field.
