Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Submits Priorities for Nearly $2 Trillion in Stimulus Funding. CBC leaders announced (3/23) they submitted an economic proposal to House and Senate Democrats. From money for head start and non-profits to moratoriums on car debts, student loans, rents and mortgages, the 11-page document listed the CBC’s priorities for nearly $2 Trillion in federal funding.

In response to the devastating impacts of COVID-19 on the Sacramento restaurant community and the Farm-to-Fork movement, a GoFundMe was established and launched by Mayor Steinberg and Region Restaurants to help support the survival of our independent restaurants, bars, breweries, cafes, coffee houses, wine tasting rooms and pubs. These businesses are the lifeblood of our community and provide employment to over 75,000 individuals in our City.

Homes will begin receiving their invitation to respond to the 2020 Census between March 12-20. These official Census Bureau mailings will include detailed information and a Census ID for completing the Census online.
