Healing
by Min. Venessa Robinson
In the June CLFMI Newsletter, we found out that healing is for everyone. Did you know the Lord Jesus intended for every person who believes in Him to do the works He did and even greater works (John 14:12)? The power and authority to minister healing and deliverance is given to every believer. According to Mark 16:17-18(KJV), “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
That same power that raised Jesus from the dead now lives within you and it is He (Holy Spirit) that does the work. Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead. Holy Spirit will work through you to perform the miracles, signs and wonders in the earth. All you have to do is let Holy Spirit lead and control your life. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your path. Remember, God gave man authority on the earth. God needs you to do things on the earth and He does not want you to be sick. Psalms 103:3 tells us that God will heal us of all our sickness and diseases. You can put your trust in God and believe every word He says.
As I was seeking God concerning this article, Holy Spirit asked me a question: “Do you have Me in you?” I answered, “Yes” and immediately the following scriptures came to mind: Jesus came that you may have life more abundantly. If I am for you, who can be against you? Greater is He that is within me than he that is in the world. Jesus bore our sins in his own body on the cross, that we, being dead to sin, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty! Little did I know, I would soon be tested in this area.
Picture this; suitcases packed, car full of gas, get up at 2am, shower, head down the stairs and suddenly I felt a pull in my left leg just above the knee. I tried rubbing it out; but the pain was still there. Determined not to cancel the trip, I wrapped a bandage around my knee and continued on with my vacation plans. I had a wonderful time even though I was limping. I got back home and my daughter tested positive for COVID-19. I laid my hands on her, declared all the healing scriptures that came to my mind and told her to go to the doctor. Then I took the test myself and it was negative. However, the next week, I tested positive. I began to lay hands on myself and declare healing scriptures over myself. One week later, I took another test and it was negative! I thank Holy Spirit for manifesting healing in my body. To God be the glory!!

A book written by our
own CLFMI author
Duane Gardner--
Wisdom You Can Apply
Most men and women today are affected by voices of negativity. This down-to-earth, practical book reveals helpful wisdom and insights for thinking about yourself and responding to others. These "pearls" are simple yet profound truths that encourage thought-provoking reflection for life's daily challenges. It is a book written from the heart that has a calming and peaceful impact on the mind and hearts of those who read it.
This little book is a Gem! Each "Pearl" ministered to my heart, and some of them especially repeated in my ear throughout the days following my reading. (Tina Hille)
Duane's "pearls" are simple truths but very profound. They are filled with wisdom and insight, and are excellent words to live by! (Debbie Bumgardner)
This wonderful book gently inspires personal growth for both the young and not so young. It's an invaluable tool in today's world. (Mary Ann Holvenstot)
This book encourages thought-provoking reflection for life's daily challenges. All around good advice for persons of any age. (Anita Crittenden)

Encouraging Word Article
November 2022
Recognize your blessings
We sometimes overlook the blessings of the Lord. The Bible says "give and it shall be given unto you ". (Luke 6:38) So how does this apply when we give money? Does it mean that we will get money in return? The answer to this question is not necessarily. Money is just a means of exchange; getting what we need or what we want. Here are some examples.
1. Having the ability to do things for ourselves that others would have to pay for.
2. Having things that last longer than the normal life span, we save by not having to replace them.
3. Having favor in various situations that confront us and could bankrupt us in some way
These are examples of returns coming back our way.
If someone does something for us that we would normally have to pay for, you save money.
I could go on but there are many things that happen in our lives that cause us to spend money unnecessarily, but God steps in and eliminates the need. God honors His words and blesses those who have a giving spirit. If you don't have a giving spirit ask the Lord to help you change. Don't be fooled by comparing yourself to others. They may have lots of wealth, but be bankrupt in joy and peace! They may also have lots of things draining them of their resources. Take the time to inventory your blessings, counting them one by one.
Till next time,
Pastor J
I'd like to hear from You.

Pastor James Green has authored by book entitled KOPS (Koncentrate on Prevention Survey)—Your home is your castle is yours a fire hazzard?
Book description
This book is intended to bring about awareness of potential FIRE hazards in your home that are right under your nose. In today's modern world with so many distractions, it is very easy to overlook things that need our attention. We live in a hurry up world. We don't take the time to pay attention to possible dangers lurking in the shadows of our homes.
The book is available on Amazon in Kindle format for .99 to buy

The Three Battlegrounds by Francis Frangipane is the current study book for the noon Bible Study, taught by Minister Von Nickleberry.
Assignment for the week of November 2-9. View the movie 'Leap of Faith' with Steve Martin (1992). The movie is available on YouTube and various streaming devices.
In a tour-de-force performance, Steve Martin plays Reverend Jonas Nightengale, a slick-as-oil flimflam man who'll trade salvation for a donation to his touring ministry. Jonas knows how to work a crowd and a con, but his works of wonder are done with mirrors and smoke. When his tour bus breaks down, Jonas pitches his tent in impoverished Rustwater, Kansas. While his alluring manager (Debra Winger) tries to persuade the local sheriff (Liam Neeson) not to close the show, Jonas sets his sights on a beautiful skeptic named Marva (Lolita Davidovich). But making a believer out of Marva is going to take a real miracle.

She served in the Corps for 27 years, from July 1944 to July 1971, nine of which she served in France, Germany, and Japan. During her career, Bailey advanced from a second lieutenant to colonel, the highest achievable military rank in the Nurse Corps. She set several landmarks for black nurses in US military, becoming the first black lieutenant colonel in 1964, the first black chief nurse in a mixed, non-segregated unit in 1966, and the first black full colonel in 1967.
During World War II, Bailey treated German prisoners of war. In the later years of her military career, she actively worked with minority organizations and advocated to increase black participation in the Corps. After her retirement from the Army, she served as a consultant to the Surgeon General in the Nixon administration, working to increase the number of minorities in the Nurse Corps. For many years, she made speeches supporting equal participation in United States Army across the United States."

How to protect yourself against carbon monoxide poisoning?
- Don't run a car or truck inside a garage attached to your house, even if you leave the door open.
- Don't burn anything in a stove or fireplace that isn't vented.
- Don't heat your house with a gas oven.
- Don't use a generator, pressure washer, or any gasoline-powered engine less than 20 feet from any window, door, or vent.
Get a CO Protector for your house or get CO protection with your house alarm system. A protector can save your life. Carbon Monoxide is odorless. You simply can go sleep and die. If you get a plug in protector, make sure it has battery backup.

Although this abundant life is available to all believers, many are not experiencing it. Here's how:
Live by Faith
An attitude of faith is more than just believing in God for something we need when we need it— it is a lifestyle of trusting God for everything.
Stop the Enemy's Interference
If he can get us to stop believing and Trusting in God's goodness, then he can successfully steal our peace and joy. Most important—— PRAISE short circuits the devil.
Walk in Obedience
Doing what we know in our heart is right.
Make a Positive Confession
Stop settling for less than God's very best. Say—No to satan. I'm not going to receive any of your lies— you're not going to interrupt my faith.
