Tim Streng is the lead instructor for the Wildcat Golf Academy. Tim has been with the WGA since 2014 and oversees the Elite, Academy and Junior programs. Under his guidance, the WGA launched the weeklong summer camps at The Glen Club, as well as the Drive Chip and Putt Boot Camp, which prepare golfers for that yearly national competition. Streng is a prime example of hard work and dedication. He went from being a non recruited college player to earning DI All-America honors as a senior at Western Illinois.

- Named by the GCAA (Golf Coaches Association of America) to the Ping All-American Honorable Mention Team (2007).
- Mid-Continent All-Conference honors all four years at Western Illinois University
When did you start playing golf and how did your career evolve into becoming an instructor?
I started golfing in junior high and as a non-recruited college player, I earned DI All - America honors my senior year at Western Illinois. I was a club pro at the beginning part of my career, but always enjoyed teaching and helping people so that led me to a full time instructional position.
What is your favorite thing about working with the kids in the Academy?
I enjoy watching our juniors progress, improve and see their passion for the game grow.
What do you like to do outside of teaching at the Academy?
I like traveling with my wife to new places around the country/world.
What is something people may not know about you?
I have twin sisters.
