Chamber Update
With last Thursday’s Primary Election Day now over, ballots are set for the General Election in November. With retirements and a few losses here and there, the next General Assembly will include many people that have never before held elective office. Therefore, it is important that you know the candidates who are running to represent the location(s) of your business and the issues they believe in.

One good way to better understand their views is to invite each candidate, separately, to visit your business. This could be for a quick tour, a conversation over coffee or simply a brief sit down to discuss issues important to your company. If you need help organizing that meeting, would like an outline of State Chamber advocacy goals, or even have a DSCC staff member attend as well, we are more than willing to help!
