Dear Friends, Families and Supporters,

Fingers crossed and knock on wood; MARC has been successful in operating programs without any incidents of COVID-19. Any reports we have of staff, community members or participants that have been exposed are fully investigated and implemented with contact tracing. The systems we have in place prevent panic and address immediate needs.

October 1st is the start of phase 2 for I/DD providers. We are working to get to 75% of authorized services. We ask that you please contact your MARC Case Manager and discuss the barriers you are facing in returning to program. We will do our best to create a solution for you. We are doing a variety of creative things in order to bring services to small groups in the community and keeping people safer in small cohorts. If we are not able to find a way to safely return you or your family member to program in this phase, please access our virtual services. There are numerous services being offered and I am confident that there is something for you. Virtual services do count toward utilization of your authorized services. You may have heard that DDS has announced that people who do not return to services within 90-days from October 1st forward, may have their allocated services awarded to someone else. Your participation in virtual services does count as utilization. If you need help accessing online opportunities, please do not hesitate to contact your MARC Case Manager. You may also use a blend of virtual and in-person services.

We have posted details below about the Community Health Center (CHC) COVID-19 Mobile Testing Site on September 21st and October 26th, as well as the Stop & Shop Pharmacy Seasonal Flu Clinic hosted here on October 16th. We hope that this increases ease of access to these services for you.

We will keep you posted with program updates. We hope to see you soon and will continue to do our best to keep everyone safe.

Sincerely,
Linda Iovanna
