A collaboration of ARISE Ensemble and Brett Valliant at the Wichita Wurlitzer. Join us to celebrate unity using music, a medium that transcends the barriers of culture, language, and geography. The program will feature music rooted in our nation’s history supplying a common foundation to move forward in peace.
ARISE Ensemble, (African-Americans Renewing Interest in Spirituals Ensemble) is comprised of music and history-minded individuals.
Brett Valliant is the Residence Artist for the Wichita Wurlitzer.

$6,775 donated towards $15,000 goal

The $15,000 will assist with the spring 2019 shows and support the 2019 Riverfest show. The Riverfest show funding allows people to attend using only a Riverfest button. The Wichita Wurlitzer uses funds for artists, show costs, and instrument maintenance. The staff is all volunteer. Donations and revenue for shows and recordings restored, installed, and maintained the Wurlitzer for 50 years.
