Summer has flown by and count down is getting closer & closer to the first day of instruction!

August 21st is a new beginning to a new semester. Good bye last year, hello this year!

Below are some helpful links & info to get you through the first few weeks:
Ask Me Tables
New to campus and need directions to class or just have a question? Come by the ASK ME tables! SJSU staff, faculty, and administrators are available to help you find their way around campus and answer any questions during the first few days the semester.
The Fall 2018 ASK ME Tables will be available from Monday, August 20th - Friday, August 24th. 
(M-TH 7:30-7:00 PM and F 7:30-3:30 PM). 
Locations will be SJSU Arch at 9th and San Fernando Streets, in front of the Student Wellness Center and Clark Hall

Stations are hosted by the  Division of Student Affairs .
Friendly reminder to our Spartans to commute to campus with a vehicle. The key to making it to class on time is come early for parking! Here are some quick links that will help out with where to go & what to do:

WOW! You'll hear that a lot from orientation and for the first few weeks of school. WOW is everywhere!

What is WOW? It is the Weeks of Welcome here on campus. #WOWSJSU is a series of free programs & events that take place the first weeks of the fall semester to welcome returning students & support new students in the transition to SJSU.
Getting involved on campus is a sure way to transform your college experience from good to unforgettable! We highly recommend you stop by any of the WOW events for the experiences, free food, free swag and best of all - to meet your fellow Spartans!

Did you finish everything to be re-recognized? The deadline has been extended from Aug 1st to now, Aug 10th!

Remember, in order to be a recognized org on campus you must complete the process!
What do I do to get recognized?
Step 1 - Student Organization Collects Data
Download SJSU|SAMMY App for President, Treasurer & at least 6 other members
1) Correct SJSU Emails needed of the...
At least 6 other members
2) Correct SJSU ID Numbers needed of the...
3) Student Organization Constitution
Step 2 - Complete Recognition Link (emailed to your officer's sjsu emails) with Correct Information
Incorrect Information leads to the entire application needing to be redone.
Step 3 - Student Involvement Reviews Application (Please allow 2 weeks for processing)
If all correct, move to Step 4
If something is wrong, Step 1 & Step 2 will need to be redone in their entirety.
Step 4 - President & Treasurer Complete Training
President & Treasurer will be loaded into a Canvas course. Both president & treasurer will need to complete the course in its entirety to be a recognized organization.
Step 5 - Becoming Re-Recognized (Please allow 2 weeks for processing)
An invite to SJSU|SAMMY for administrative access will be received.
