Being together again is a blessing, a relief, and a cause for celebration, but we must remember there is still a need for caution and prudence to protect others. Take all necessary steps to stay safe: wear masks, distance, and please get vaccinated. Here are some details:
We understand how excited you are to return to in-person worship, but please refrain from hugging or shaking hands - at least for the near-term. Give us a few more weeks for more vaccinations. And please don’t be offended if others aren’t ready to accept your happy hugs or close proximity. Remember: it’s not about you, it’s about the virus.
- Outside is the place for conversation and catching up, not in the building.
- As safety allows, more and more of the service will expand to include congregational singing and the return of the choirs. These first services are just the beginning - like the crocus that pops up before the daffodils.
- Please be patient with us and with your fellow congregants as we begin this process, which is so much more than just opening sanctuary doors.
