Westside Cultural Arts Center 

Co-hosted by Atlanta First Lady Sarah-Elizabeth Reed and Laura Turner Seydel, Earth Week will kick-off with a celebration at the Westside Cultural Arts Center. The event will highlight tastings from Westside farm-to-table restaurants including JCT Kitchen, The Optimist,  5 Seasons, Bocado, Miller Union, Souper Jenny and Amelie's French Bakery; coffee provided by Octane Coffee; beer provided by Sweetwater; seasonal cocktails created by restaurant mixologists; modelled fashions by eco-designers; and remarks from the evening's hostesses, Honorable Mayor Reed, and the nation's first - and Atlanta's own - Urban Agriculture Director Mario Cambardella.

The event will benefit urban agriculture in Atlanta, and enhance community and school gardens in the Westside, in association with the Captain Planet Foundation. Tickets on sale here
