The Summer Food Service Program has been extended through September 31!

The USDA extended a waiver through September 31. This allows us to continue to provide food to those in need throughout Chicago, noting that we have served nearly 650,000 meals since March!
OAI is recruiting for the Environmental Career Worker Training Program. This program provides individuals with the skillset to start a gainful career in the environmental remediation and solar field. Below is a list of the typical certifications for the program:
-Forklift
-CPR
-OSHA 10
-HAZWOPER
-Lockout/Tagout
-Confined Space
-First Aid
-Mold Awareness
-Lead Renovation Repair & Painting
-Blood Borne Pathogens
NOTES:
-Training is FREE!!
-Training is Monday thru Friday – 8:30-4:30 (12 Week Program)
-Transportation Assistance is provided
-Free Lunch
-Hands-On Training
-Free books & equipment
-Job Placement Assistance
-Training is unpaid
-Must have high school diploma or GED
-Must be at least 18 years of age
-Must take TABE test during orientation (Reading & Math must be at 9.0 or higher)
