Getting Ready For 2022
CALLING ALL EDMONTON ARTISTS

Plans are underway for a jazz-filled 2022! We are currently looking for artists from Edmonton and surrounding areas who are interested in showcase opportunities in the upcoming months, including our summer festival. Whether you are new on the jazz scene or a local favourite, we want to hear about what you are working on to see if we can help shine a light on your project and share it with the community!
NEW DATES FOR JAZZWORKS
Due to the current COVID-19 Omicron wave and its high rate of transmission, we have decided it would best to reschedule the Jazzworks Non-Competitive Band Festival. The new dates are March 9 & 10, 2022. Those registered will be contacted to confirm their new clinic and showcase times.

ADDING TO OUR TEAM
Great with details? Good with people? Love the fast-pace of large events and coordinating who needs what, when, and where? Than this might be the role for you. The EJFS is currently looking to add a Logistics Coordinator to its admin team. CLICK HERE for details on the position.

We are delighted to be celebrating one year of sharing jazz history and artists-you-should-get-to-know through our #jazziswithedmjazz series on Instagram and Facebook. We are proud to have used our platform as a learning tool and a way for our followers to explore the landscape of jazz - past, present, and future.

This series started from an amazing list of artist recommendations that was collected from followers who participated in our 2020 Music Fan Survey. Thank you to those who shared their feedback and helped inspire this project. Together we built something wonderful!
