Join us via Zoom for our upcoming Virtual Events!
Greetings!
Transitioning into shorter days can be an adjustment for many of us; scheduling the planting of Amaryllis and Paperwhites bulbs now so that they bloom this winter is a fun way to keep a positive vibe going. It's an easy project, and by following the timetable we show below you can time your blooms accordingly. You'll enjoy watching the plants develop and have a bright feeling when those buds start to bloom. We could all use a little of that, plus you get gorgeous flowers! HCG has the bulbs, supplies and kits for an easy project. New stock of Amaryllis and Paperwhite arrived this week so get them while supplies last.
For the next few weeks Hyannis Country Garden is going into "elf mode", planning, building, and prepping for the busiest short season of our year. We will help you get ready for the season with our week long Socially Distanced Open House. Plus we have great Virtual Events that focus on indoor plants and projects throughout the winter.
It will run over the course of ten days with demonstration tables, grab bags and virtual events centered on holiday projects to do at home. Go to the link above to get all the details, or see our flyer below.
And don't forget to peek at our blog this week; C.L. talks about Taming Your Cape Cod Jungle... because, lets face it, that work is always at hand.
Be well- ♥ Nan

The #HCGBlog ~ by C.L. Fornari
It happens in every landscape on Cape Cod. Birds sit in shrubs and trees after eating fruits from other plants, continually depositing the seeds in your yard. The sea breeze does its part to spread the finer seeds and before you know it there are all sorts of plants growing in your gardens that you may or may not want.
