Dear Zoo Members,

I want to first thank you for all your support during these tough times. We are humbled by all the members who have purchased memberships to the Zoo, many of you knowing that they would not be usable immediately. You have helped us provide for more than 400 Zoo animals during the last few months when we have had no other revenue.

The Potawatomi Zoo prides itself in being able to offer one of the most inexpensive zoo memberships with the most perks of other zoos. For instance, a family of four visiting the Zoo just two times in a year pays for a Family membership.

As you can see, we have so much to offer this year and cannot wait to get you back to the Zoo.
Extended Season: The Zoo was originally scheduled to close at the end of October, but we are extending the season until the end of November.
Extended hours : For the first time in Zoo history, we will be staying open until 8 pm through August 31.
Souvenir cup: Available from the Congo Café with a free first fill. (Refills are not available until further notice for health and safety reasons).
Member Mornings : Every weekend from July through September, members have exclusive access to the Zoo from 9 am – 10 am. All train and carousel rides are $1 during this early morning hour.
Members Picnic: 2020 date to be determined.
Discounted Admission: Reciprocal benefits to more than 150 zoos and aquariums nationwide
10% discount in our gift shop

We know there are questions regarding extending memberships. Please understand that extending memberships is not a fiscally viable option for the Zoo. This decision comes from extensive research and deliberation and was not made lightly. The amount of membership renewals that would be pushed into summer next year would affect the operations of the Zoo.

Despite everything we are offering with this year’s membership, we do recognize that we are over two months past our original open date. We are offering a 15% discount to any membership renewals purchased in June.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we open back up for the summer.
