SHADELANDS WELCOMES EASTERSEALS BAY AREA!
|
For more than 90 years,
Easterseals Bay Area (ESBA)
has been leading the way to ensure individuals and families affected by disabilities can live, learn, work, and play to their full potential.
Easterseals Bay Area is especially focused on individuals and families in the Bay Area affected by autism and is at the forefront of innovative care.
To address the unprecedented need for behavioral health services, ESBA continues to expand its team, services, and geographical reach.
To this end, ESBA recently moved its corporate headquarters from Pleasant Hill to a larger location in
Walnut Creek Executive Park
on Shadelands Drive where it is leasing 52,501 square feet, suitable for its growing team.
ESBA employees are delighted with the many amenities within walking distance, the transportation options, Crunch Gym at The Orchards, and the free LimeBikes for employee use.
Welcome to Shadelands!

SHADELANDS SPORTSMALL:
ENCOREGYM
|
These are exciting times at
EncoreGym
as it plans its Fall 2018 move from its current 17,000-sq.-ft. facility to its new 27,000-sq.-ft. facility in the extraordinary Shadelands SportsMall. Calling it "Encore 3.0," Business Director Virginia Kelley says, "We will be able to offer our children and families so much more
—
a top of the line, comfortable facility with quality equipment, more dance rooms, and new programs."
With a record enrollment of 2,500 children, Encore is a high-level performance-based gym teaching cartwheels and hand springs and "fun kid things." Its dance programs travel internationally to perform.
"Teaching cartwheels costs little, but inspiration is priceless," says Virginia.
"We focus on developing and training the whole child toward goal setting, self-esteem, and body awareness. When we do that, we see happy, gymnasts and dancers and confident kids
—
and it goes beyond just the cartwheels."
