Hang onto your hats folks, Spring is right here!
Adam visited The Ag Systems Management Club Meeting on Thursday to talk about what Fennig Equipement does, and how students can have future employment opportunitees with Fennig Equipment.
March 22nd 2019

This week was finally a nice touch of spring. For us in Ohio finally no snow for a week and we saw some temps in the 40's and 50's. We also want to take the time tosay our thoughts and prayers are with those in Nebraska suffering from the castrophic flooding and Blizzard conditions. The amount of land, cattle, and homes lost will take years to repair. Nebraska Farm Bureau is a good contact for anyone wanting to help in any way. We have a busy week ahead delivering product to customers and finishing up some planter installations. It is not too late to place orders we do still have row cleaners, closing wheels and much more still in stock.

Making Liquid Fertilizer work in the Planter
For many in the NH3 world, especially pre plant, there has been and will be a shortage of nice conditions to apply preplant NH3 as we already missed the fall window due to rain. Above are some liquid fertilizer solutions for on the planter. Fast side tanks, Yield 360 Side tanks, and the Yield 360 Bandit. We carry all 3 items and we have seen a demand for all 3 considering the switch for some to liquid fertilizer this spring.
Cassie's Country Cupboard Weekly Recipe:

Italian Lemon Butter Shrimp

I love to keep frozen raw shrimp on hand for easy seafood dinners. Tip: “Raw” shrimp is still blue/grey. Shrimp is pink when it is cooked. I hope you enjoy this restaurant worthy meal, even on a weeknight!
Italian Lemon Butter Shrimp
24 oz. frozen raw deveined shrimp
6 T. melted butter
Juice of a lemon
1 ½ tsp. Italian Seasoning
Preheat oven to 350F. Thaw shrimp according to package directions. Remove shells if necessary. Line a 9x13 dish with foil and add melted butter and the lemon juice. Add shrimp and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine. Bake in oven for 15-17 minutes. Do not overcook. Serve shrimp and butter sauce over rice, pasta, or zucchini noodles.
