Meet Ginny Campbell
“It’s a crazy life, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!”

Ken and Ginny are featured front and center, son Matt is third from right, son AJ is far right. Along with Ken came his four fabulous kids – Erin, Patrick, Andrew & Caitlin. Matt and Erin are married to Audrey and Sawyer respectively. Not pictured is Matt’s daughter Cecem lia, age 6.

Ginny joined Allisonville Christian Church (ACC) on Commitent Sunday 2000 (now that is fearless!). She was really a part of the family before then. She met Gale Stutz 1 when they worked together in the little league concession stand. Gale recruited her to play on the ACC church softball team; which is not surprising since Ginny played on North Central High School’s softball team.

When Ginny first attended worship at Allisonville, she saw friends everywhere that she looked: Joel Leaman was her backdoor neighbor; Jack Tilton was her sixth grade teacher; Keith Gran worked with her Dad; and Susan Michal (Gran) is her brother’s best friend 2 . It didn’t take long for Ginny to know that ACC was her church home.
Ginny grew up right around the corner from church. With some short exceptions she has lived her whole life in the Indianapolis area. Her boys—AJ, a great singer who is currently attending culinary school in Nashville TN; and Matt, who runs operations for her brother’s business--grew up at ACC. It is always exciting when they visit.

Ginny loves interacting with people. She has spent many years working in Human Relations (at Lilly and other businesses) and now is a real estate agent for Tucker. Real estate can seem like a 24/7 kind of job, but if you love what you do, you don’t work a day in your life. Ginny loves what she does.

Another love of her life is travel with Ken, her partner in life and work. Together they have traveled to Las Vegas – for AJ’s 21st birthday; Seattle, the Napa Valley, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Denver, Phoenix, Bonita Springs… with more to come. Ken and Ginny hope to “do Europe” sooner rather than later.

Her vocation makes regular attendance for worship difficult, but her heart belongs to her family and ACC, and coming to worship, just like the first time, is like coming home.

1 Gale Stutz is a former member of Allisonville Christian Church who currently pastors Franklin Central and Eastgate Christian Churches. 2 All those named are current or past members of ACC. Sadly, Joel Leaman and Jack Tilton are now deceased.
