Debbie and Ron have been married for 38 years and have three kids; two girls and a boy. They also have three grandkids and three GREAT GRANDKIDS.

Debbie has worked for 25 years as an LPN in the wound care area of St Vincent’s Hospital on 86th street. Before that, she worked in insurance. She grew up on the North side of Indianapolis and attended North Central High School. Debbie loves to dance ballroom, Latin, and Zumba. She enjoyed being part of a dance flash mob in downtown Indy.

Ron, who is now retired, has had a variety of jobs. His parents (Harold and Eileen) were members of Allisonville Christian Church (ACC) when it was Broad Ripple Christian Church and after it moved to its current location. After graduating from North Central High School in 1969, he entered the navy during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in Subic Bay, Philippines. After his service he enrolled at IUPUI. For 10 years after school, Ron worked in the insurance business. He also worked part time as security for entertainers (there have got to be some great stories there). He left that industry to work for his brother-in-law before having his own carpet-cleaning business. Along the way Ron also worked as a bouncer; so keep things calm and nobody will get hurt.

Debbie and Ron joined ACC the week after Diane Spleth started as our senior pastor. Debbie was at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church before that. Ron grew up as a neighbor of John Quick so they had to end up at ACC at some point.
