Carving out paths on Mt. Southington with community partner 100 Black Men of Stamford.

More than 20 Future 5 members hit the slopes to snowboard and ski at Mt. Southington thanks to 100 Black Men of Stamford, who generously sponsored the trip and chaperoned as well! Following a quick lesson, many first-timers had fun experiencing the "ups and downs" of the sport, and additional thanks go to Big Snow, Pickleball America, and Future 5 coaches, who made sure all of our students had the clothing and equipment they needed for the trip!

How do you create your own personal brand?

In Job Prep workshops, students learn soft skills -- from a basic handshake to eye contact, how to build a resume, create a LinkedIn page, and craft an elevator speech about their own personal brand.

What can we learn from a field trip to Warwick Capital?

During the meeting, students discussed the interview process, including how to identify their own strengths and weaknesses.

Overnight campus visit!

Student members braved the elements to visit SUNY Cortland and SUNY Binghamton, where they had full tours and met with students on campus.

Student members help out at Person-to-Person, feeling good about giving back to the community!

Last year, 121 Future 5 student volunteers performed more than 1,600 hours of community service at organizations like Person-to-Person, where members recently helped out in the food pantry to support Person-to-Person's mission to provide assistance to residents in lower Fairfield County.
