COVID UPDATE
We are watching our state battle an increase in the Coronavirus and now the Delta Variant. We are thoughtful and prayerful of the best ways to model faith, be good neighbors to our community, and help our faith family attend our programs and services.

Please be reminded of several COVID protocols we employ each week:
- Masks are available in the Main Lobby and North Lobby for anyone who wishes to wear a mask.
- Socially distant seating is set up in The Venue for our Modern service.
- Socially distant seating is available on the main floor of our Worship Center (stage right section.)
- Our preschool and children’s areas are disinfected each week.

As always, we encourage anyone who does not feel well for any reason to please stay at home. For those under the weather or those who wish to isolate due to increasing COVID cases, we invite you to join us online at 9:30 each week via YouTube, Facebook, or at gsfbc.org/live.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
Sunday school and MidWeek are great opportunities for children to experience training in the faith through music, games, missions, memory verses, and much more! The church is looking for godly leaders to serve the Lord through the children’s ministries in both Sunday school and MidWeek. Promotion day for Sunday school will take place August 15, and MidWeek resumes August 25. If you are interested in serving, please contact Brad Franklin at 501-455-3474 or [email protected].

Last week we mentioned our Directional Team has been prayerfully considering filling our Missions Pastor vacancy. This person will lead our Missions Office and oversee our ministry expansion into Bryant/Saline Co. The Directional and Personnel Team have confidently extended an invitation to Adam Miller to come and serve as our Mission Mobilization Pastor. Adam Miller is no stranger to Geyer Springs. His parents, Rick and Robin Miller, brought Adam and his sister (Marcia Walker, husband Chad) to Geyer Springs when Adam was in the 6th grade. Formerly, Adam interned and served as an associate in our children’s and sports ministries. Adam’s understanding of our area, his history with our church, his passion for church planting, and his experience in thriving churches give him credible tools to fulfill this role. You can download Adam’s profile here to learn about his family, his experience, and his heartbeat for ministry. Join us August 15 as Adam comes in View of a Call and we vote on him as our Mission Mobilization Pastor.
