STAFF UPDATE
We are very grateful for Joe Statton’s faithful leadership in helping us steward our tithes and offerings with integrity and wisdom for the past 20 years. In light of his retirement effective December 26, it is important to understand our strategic plan to fill his responsibilities. Our Directional Team has been working with our Personnel and Finance Teams to move forward with a twofold approach to provide management over our finance office. Effective January 1, after serving faithfully for 23 years as our Financial Assistant, Tori Carver will be promoted to our Director of Finance. Under her leadership, we will outsource the majority of our accounting needs to a third-party church accounting firm. We firmly believe their expertise and software will help us continue our financial strength and integrity as we seek to faithfully oversee the Lord’s resources. Jason Miller will step into the role of overseeing Tori and our Finance Team.

Toni Blackwell, who has served as Pastor Joe’s Administrative Assistant, will move to our Missions office to serve alongside our Missions office staff and Pastor Adam.

We are looking forward to this next season of ministry and are grateful to be able to serve such a wonderful church family. If you have any questions about this staffing update, please contact Pastor Jason at [email protected].
BAPTISM DAY
Acts 8:12 states, “But when they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.” What an encouragement and example for us to trust Christ as Savior and then be baptized! We will host a Baptism Day on Sunday, December 5 in both services. We would like to encourage those who have never been baptized, have delayed their baptism, or need to be baptized on the right side of their salvation to join others on this day of celebration and obedience. If you would like more information, please contact Kim Bailey at [email protected].
