Are you interested in human rights issues in your community and around the world? Are you looking for a place to engage with the issues facing our local and global communities? If so, come to the Human Rights Club after school on Mondays in C-104.

ACTIVITY TICKET: The purchase of the 24-25 yearbook is tied to the purchase of an activity ticket bundle! Now is the time to make this purchase before HPHS places their order with our yearbook publisher. You will find the purchase link in the Infinite Campus School Store. Activity Ticket purchases fund the entire student activities program. This bundle includes a yearbook, free admission to athletic events and free admission to student-directed fine arts events (STUNTS & the Short Play Festival) using a student ID. An activity ticket purchase also supports our school's literary magazine, school media/newspaper, all theater productions, assemblies, and all-school special activities. Yearbooks are part of the Activity Ticket bundle and are not sold separately. Students must go to the bookstore to redeem their free theater tickets. Of course this purchase is optional, however we do not order extra yearbooks to sell once they arrive. You can set up a cash payment plan in the bookstore if needed.

A FRAM discount (students enrolled in the free book program) is available when you go to make your purchase in Infinite Campus. The cost is $50. For more information, please contact Norma Aguilar, nagular@dist113.org .

Community Opportunities

The Highland Park Varsity Hockey team goes 2-1 on the week. Wednesday, the Giants beat Maine 5-2 behind a hat trick from Casey Rategan and 2 goals from Ben Lichtenfeld! After a tough loss against Deerfield on Saturday night (thank you students for the tremendous spirit and support), HP bounced back with a huge 6-0 victory against Lyons on Sunday! Dylan Lansky recorded his 2nd hat trick of the young season, while Ben Lichtenfeld added 2 more goals and Cole Rosenbloom found the back of the net to kickstart the scoring barrage. Graham Spencer was sensational in net notching both wins this week! Big week ahead for the squad as they face Prep, Carmel and GBN – 3 tough opponents. Remember, only 46 days until Round 2 against Deerfield! Visit hpgiantshockey.net for full schedule
