This shout-out is for Junior, Lucy Wallman! As a member of many clubs and activities here at HPHS, she took it upon herself to individually lead, plan, partner, and team with our HPHS Coming Together Saturday program lead by Alicia De La Cruz to start a free cooking/nutrition program for our D112 students! Here are photos of Lucy’s work and her change agent student leadership. She truly models our GIANT values (Generous- Generosos, Inclusive-Inclusivos, Accountable-Responsables, Nurturing-Cariñosos, Teammates-Compañeros) here at HPHS what it means to be GIANT!

PARKING REMINDERS: Parking Reminders: All students are to park only in the designated student parking area and not in the staff parking lot. Athletes or students entering the building before school begins are allowed to park in the West staff parking lot only before school but you are required to move your vehicle before school begins. You are encouraged to park along the wall by the train tracks or near the tennis courts which is the designated student parking area without having to move your vehicle.

Please note: You are not allowed to park in front of the pool entrance, reserved parking spaces and directly across the traffic safety vehicles, BEFORE and DURING school hours.

Security has noticed an increased use of these blocked off staff spaces as well as vehicles that are not moved once school begins by some of our athletes. Security will continue to issue warnings. After the 2nd warning your vehicle will be towed. Click here under Student Parking to view a complete description of the staff and student parking areas.

ACTIVITY TICKET: The purchase of the 24-25 yearbook is tied to the purchase of an activity ticket bundle! Now is the time to make this purchase before HPHS places their order with our yearbook publisher. You will find the purchase link in the Infinite Campus School Store. Activity Ticket purchases fund the entire student activities program. This bundle includes a yearbook, free admission to athletic events and free admission to student-directed fine arts events (STUNTS & the Short Play Festival) using a student ID. An activity ticket purchase also supports our school's literary magazine, school media/newspaper, all theater productions, assemblies, and all-school special activities. Yearbooks are part of the Activity Ticket bundle and are not sold separately. Students must go to the bookstore to redeem their free theater tickets. Of course this purchase is optional, however we do not order extra yearbooks to sell once they arrive. You can set up a cash payment plan in the bookstore if needed.

A FRAM discount (students enrolled in the free book program) is available when you go to make your purchase in Infinite Campus. The cost is $50. For more information, please contact Norma Aguilar, nagular@dist113.org .
