HOCO BBQ is Friday during lunch periods in the courtyard

Enjoy a burger/hot dog, chips, and a cookie for only $6.00

Use this link to purchase your meal on Omella (cash will also be accepted at the BBQ).

Seniors who still need their picture taken for the yearbook can come to the Giant Conference Room on Friday October 25th all day. The picture taken in PE class is NOT used for the yearbook for Seniors.

ACTIVITY TICKET: The purchase of the 24-25 yearbook is tied to the purchase of an activity ticket bundle! Now is the time to make this purchase before HPHS places their order with our yearbook publisher. You will find the purchase link in the Infinite Campus School Store. Activity Ticket purchases fund the entire student activities program. This bundle includes a yearbook, free admission to athletic events and free admission to student-directed fine arts events (STUNTS & the Short Play Festival) using a student ID. An activity ticket purchase also supports our school's literary magazine, school media/newspaper, all theater productions, assemblies, and all-school special activities. Yearbooks are part of the Activity Ticket bundle and are not sold separately. Students must go to the bookstore to redeem their free theater tickets. Of course this purchase is optional, however we do not order extra yearbooks to sell once they arrive. You can set up a cash payment plan in the bookstore if needed.

A FRAM discount (students enrolled in the free book program) is available when you go to make your purchase in Infinite Campus. The cost is $50. For more information, please contact Norma Aguilar, nagular@dist113.org .

Community Opportunities

Join the Highland Park Hockey Teams for a community fundraising event to support Cooper Roberts' sled hockey team. Cooper, who was tragically shot and injured during the Highland Park July 4th parade in 2022, has found a sport and team that he truly loves. He is a member of the Hornets Sled Hockey team, which consists of kids with physical disabilities participating in the great sport of ice hockey. Please come out and join the Highland Park community to help support COOPER’S DREAM TEAM - The Hornets - play against the HPHS Varsity and JV. https://www.hornetsledhockey.org/

The Giants Varsity Hockey Team improved their record to 3-3 in league play with a dramatic win Thursday night in Barrington. Trailing 3-0 in the 1st period, the Giants stormed back to score 4 unanswered goals for the victory! After goals by seniors Casey Rategan, Owen Silverman, and Charlie Cohen in the 3rd period, sophomore Brady Kimelman sniped the game winner with 45 seconds remaining in the contest! This was a huge character win for the young squad as they outshot Yeti 28-13. HP looks to carry that momentum into this week’s game against Notre Dame and the heart of the league schedule over the next few weeks. ONLY 25 days until the Blackhawks Rivalry gamer against Deerfield! Huge thanks to the students for filling the rink with support and spirit all season!
