The Honor Giant program seeks to recognize our students annually for academic achievements, attendance, behavior and activity involvement at school. These criteria are the standard HPHS would like all students to strive to achieve during high school. This growth mindset model enables every student the opportunity to be recognized as an Honor Giant after each school year. Emails will soon be sent to students and families who earned this honor for the 2023-24 school year. Additionally, students will be recognized during Homeroom on November 15, 2024. Congratulations to all those who met the criteria. Visit the Honor Giants website to see how any student can achieve this recognition after their freshman, sophomore, or junior year!

| | ACTIVITY TICKET: The purchase of the 24-25 yearbook is tied to the purchase of an activity ticket bundle! Now is the time to make this purchase before HPHS places their order with our yearbook publisher. You will find the purchase link in the Infinite Campus School Store. Activity Ticket purchases fund the entire student activities program. This bundle includes a yearbook, free admission to athletic events and free admission to student-directed fine arts events (STUNTS & the Short Play Festival) using a student ID. An activity ticket purchase also supports our school's literary magazine, school media/newspaper, all theater productions, assemblies, and all-school special activities. Yearbooks are part of the Activity Ticket bundle and are not sold separately. Students must go to the bookstore to redeem their free theater tickets. Of course this purchase is optional, however we do not order extra yearbooks to sell once they arrive. You can set up a cash payment plan in the bookstore if needed.
A FRAM discount (students enrolled in the free book program) is available when you go to make your purchase in Infinite Campus. The cost is $50. For more information, please contact Norma Aguilar, nagular@dist113.org .

HPHS Athletics hosted an IHSA Swimming and Diving Sectional Meet on Saturday. Some of the best swimmers in the area competed and our Giants represented well, earning numerous medals and finishing in 5th place as a team. Brooke Eliacin and Emily Fraser qualified for this coming weekend’s State Finals in Westmont, IL. A big thank you to our security team, building and grounds department, staff chaperones, ticket takers, event supervisors, and athletic trainers for all they did to help this past weekend, and throughout the entire Fall Season.
