Gibault Community Involvement

Gibault’s Odyssey House set up a marketing table at the community pool party in Sullivan, IN to help people find their way back to sobriety and respect. Since 2011 Odyssey House has been providing safe, affordable and healthy sober living environments for adult males seeking recovery as a new way of life.

Gibault enjoyed participating in the inaugural Town of West Terre Haute Festival. We appreciate opportunities to connect with our local communities.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends, colleagues and students of Mr. Mark Neiner.

Mr. Mark is greatly missed on our Campagna Campus.

In Loving Memory

July 12, 1954 - August 4, 2023

Seymour K of C Council #1252 brought family and friends to visit our Terre Haute campus and delivered donuts for our children and staff. We are grateful for the “sweet support”!

The “Watermelon Man”, Charles Ingram and wife Mary delivered melons to our Supervisor of Food  Services, Ms. Cowan, which were donated by his K of C Council #2215, Haubstadt. The children on both  campuses loved eating the fresh fruit!

Fifteen Knights and Ladies, representing eight K of C Councils, joined us for a tour of our Campagna Campus. Afterwards, we had a light reception where guests could ask questions and network together on ways to best support our mission.

Twelve members of St. Michael the Archangel Church volunteered on our Campagna Campus to help us sort through clothing donations to prepare them to go to our children. During their visit they learned a lot about our mission and the services we provide to Hoosier children. We look forward to a continued relationship with them.

K of C Council #17043, South Bend hosted a cookout and ice cream sundae bar on our Campagna Campus.

Our children and staff enjoyed the yummy food and visiting with our special guests.

Carmel K of C Council #12387 invited our children and staff to attend their annual Seton Fest. They were spoiled with playing games, eating fair food and riding carnival rides.

SUITCASES

We are in need of new or gently used suitcases for our children!

Most of our children come to us either with nothing or all of their belongings in trash bags. We make sure they have everything they need including clothes, shoes, coats, socks, etc. and personal hygiene items. When they leave us, we want them to leave with dignity and they get to choose a suitcase and backpack.

Thank you in advance!
