SEEKING CO-EDITOR

The Search Committee for the Presbyterian Women of Giddings-Lovejoy is searching for a co-editor of their newsletter entitled, The Linkletter. The co-editor will be responsible for using technology to format articles and pictures related to Presbyterian Women’s activities into a publication that can be shared throughout the Presbytery. The Linkletter is sent by email, usually on a quarterly basis. The Linkletter co-editor will attend Co-ordinating Team meetings that are held by Zoom on the third Friday of each month from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. PCUSA Town Hall on Protecting Immigrant Rights Near and Far

There are many questions have come rushing in the wake of the election. How are Presbyterians going to respond to these threats to our community? What resources are out there? What is the future of sanctuary? What is the future of refugee resettlement and other temporary protections? How are the Presbyterian Church denomination offices going to respond? (Hosted by PDA, Immigration Issues and OPW to prepare for new U.S. policies and actions against immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers.)
