THANK YOU, EARTH CARE CONGREGATIONS!

Congregations that have successfully applied for and received certification as Earth Care Congregations have made important contributions to improving this beautiful planet we live on!

If you wish to become re-certified, please track your continued commitments. Progress in each of the areas should be marked since the time of the last certification. The Earth Care Congregation Recertification Application is to be submitted by online form Jan 1-Feb 15 at http://surveys.pcusa.org/s3/Earth-Care-Congregation-Application.

To prepare to submit the online form, you may for your own record use the Excel formats of the application questions.

JOIN THE MOVEMENT OF EARTH CARE CONGREGATIONS

To become certified as an Earth Care Congregation, churches take the “Earth Care Pledge” and complete activities in the fields of worship, education, facilities and outreach. Download an Earth Care Congregations bulletin insert.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) said that 2024 was the hottest year in recordkeeping that goes back to 1850. The increasing intensity of storms and warming oceans are just two signs of the consequences.

NOTE: The annual enrollment/recertification period is January 1 - February 15.
