If you or your church have youth who are interested in attending the 2025 Triennium in Louisville, KY- our presbytery will be sending a delegation! This year's gathering from July 28th-31st is titled "As If We Were Dreaming". The focus will be on developing youth leadership and growth faith through fellowship, recreation, workshops, and worship.

The delegation will be considered a "community group", so youth will build and grow connections with other youth in their presbytery over the four-day period. There will also be two scheduled opportunities for youth to register in special interest groups where they can meet and learn with other interested Presbyterian youth from around the country- focusing on topics like music, worship and liturgical art, social justice and witness, mission and activism, and much more.

Additional details on cost, transportation, and lodging for the presbytery delegation are coming soon, but preliminary details and FAQs about the Triennium event can be found at presbyterianyouthtriennium.org.

If you or your church have youth who would be interested in this once-in-a-lifetime experience- please contact the GLPBY Triennium registrar, Matt Miller, at triennium@glpby.org

We look forward to seeing you there!

When we work in these agencies, we do so with a heart for supporting the work of these agencies as they serve the underserved in our community and praying for both the agencies with which we are working and for their clientele. If you or someone you know is interested in joining us, please let us know by replying to this email or calling me (Julie) at 618-410-5060 to inquire.

JOIN THE MOVEMENT OF EARTH CARE CONGREGATIONS

To become certified as an Earth Care Congregation, churches take the “Earth Care Pledge” and complete activities in the fields of worship, education, facilities and outreach. Download an Earth Care Congregations bulletin insert.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) said that 2024 was the hottest year in recordkeeping that goes back to 1850. The increasing intensity of storms and warming oceans are just two signs of the consequences.

NOTE: The annual enrollment/recertification period is January 1 - February 15.
