Have you heard? Back by popular demand, St. Mark will once again produce a dramatization of Jesus and the 12 Disciples as they reenact the story of the Last Supper and recall their lives before meeting Jesus, during his ministry, and spreading the Good News after His Crucifixion, Resurrection, and Ascension.

Strain on the Safety Net
Food Insecurity is Building
What can we do?
In Louisville, Kentucky, a coalition of organizations including the Presbyterian Hunger Program has worked together to make great strides toward a better food system. The newly established Greater Louisville Food Council and its multi-year strategic plan, Food Vision 2030, emerged from over two years of extensive community input. With a roadmap in place, this coalition was eager to apply for a USDA implementation grant to bring these plans to life.
But like so many other government programs, that funding has vanished.

The cost per youth delegate is $400. We are grateful to the synod, presbytery, and generous members who have contributed to offsetting the cost of this incredible experience.
For churches sending two (2) or more youth as part of the presbytery delegation: please select one individual to represent your church. That individual will be responsible for registering your youth with the presbytery registrar (Matt Miller) using the link below and will be the person who receives communication regarding deadlines and important Triennium information (note: this person is not required to attend Triennium). We are asking churches to submit a $100 deposit per youth by April 18th (details included on the registration form).
| |
Registration will close on Friday, April 18th
| |
If you are an individual attending Triennium as the only delegate for your church, please contact us at triennium@glpby.org.
We do not want finances to restrict any interested youth from experiencing this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity- grants and scholarships are available! For more details on applying for a Triennium grant, please contact us at triennium@glpby.org.

The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act of 2025 (SAVE Act) H.R. 22 was introduced on January 3, 2025 in the 119th Congress and the House is expected to vote on it this week. Many Americans do not have the required documentation, and this legislation would disproportionately affect marginalized communities, including people of color, low-income individuals, and women who have changed their names due to marriage.
As Presbyterians, we are called to advocate for justice, equality, and the protection of the most vulnerable in society. Learn what you can do by clicking here.

March Advocacy Hour Webinar Dives into Immigration Issues
Hundreds of people tune in to hear from those ministering to those with and without documents
The Office of Public Witness of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) hosted the second of its new monthly Advocacy Hour webinars on Wednesday, with a focus on immigration. The 90-minute virtual gathering drew more than 500 registrants from across the country, including pastors, elders, other church leaders and nonprofit professionals. Participants were notified at the beginning of the event that, in a departure from standard practice, this webinar would not be recorded out of respect for its sensitive nature and concerns for safety. Webster Groves Presbyterian has some church pews available. There are 16 long pews. They are approximately 141" L x 21" D x 34" H. There are two others with the same length and height but slightly greater depth due to the detailing of the back pews. There are also four that were shorted for wheelchair access, so same depth and height but 113" in length.
Anyone interested in the pews should contact Beth Kazlauskas at bok@wgpc.org.

From the Stated Clerk
Annual Financial Review - Call to Help!
Does your church struggle to complete the annual requirement to conduct an Annual Financial Review as required by the Book of Order, G-3.0113, due to a lack of financial or human resources? If so, your community is not alone. Many of our churches across the Presbytery struggle each year to complete this requirement or cannot afford to utilize a third-party review as they would like. However, many of our other churches are blessed with qualified and talented membership who can provide this gift for their church. As Presbyterians and fellow Christians, we are called to be the connectional church, and so this is a call for help across the Presbytery. If your church has someone with the qualifications and talents for financial reviews and would be willing to be asked by other churches looking for help, for a reasonable honorarium or gift for their time, please let us know! The dream is to develop a contact list, like our Pulpit Supply list, as a resource to share with Presbytery. For questions or submissions, please contact the Stated Clerk directly.
