Donations Sought for Community Paddlers Dock
A funding effort for a community paddlers dock is being led by the Gig Harbor Canoe and Kayak Racing Team. Though the local nationally-ranked team will use the dock and its facilities, none of the money raised will go directly to the team. Instead, the paddlers dock will benefit all of Gig Harbor by growing the local paddling community, increasing access to the waterfront, and giving everyone a chance to learn and compete in a safe and appropriate environment. Visit CommunityPaddlersDock.org for more info.
