Expect Delays: Stinson Avenue Watermain Replacement Starts on July 8
The Stinson Avenue Watermain Replacement Project is expected to begin July 8th, 2019 and continue throughout the summer months. The project will replace approximately 4000 linear feet of watermain. Within the project limits there will be a single-lane closure with alternating traffic for the majority of the project. There will be some work performed in Grandview Street, between Pioneer Way and Stinson Ave. Minimal work will take place in the Pioneer/Grandview intersection, however, this work is mostly limited to night-work to minimize the impact to the public.

It is suggested to use alternative routes as identified in the diagram above, as it is expected there will be significant vehicular delay in the vicinity of Stinson Avenue throughout the duration of the project. On July 9th, work will be stopped by 2 pm in deference to the Summer Sounds @ Skansie Beatniks concert.

Please contact Construction Supervisor, Kyle Neiman, with questions or concerns at 253-853-7607. Or, to reach the Public Works main-line please dial 253-851-8136.
