The next Lake Zurich Village Board meeting is on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 7:00 pm at Village Hall.

All Village Board and Planning & Zoning Commission meetings are broadcast live on local public access channels, the Village website, Facebook & Youtube Live.

Among other items, this agenda includes...

The Village’s goal with the Parks Master Plan is to enhance key existing park properties while thoughtfully planning for future resource allocation and potential redevelopment over the next 5 to 10 years.

The Master Plan will specifically focus on Kuechmann Arboretum, Oak Ridge Park, Old Mill Grove Park, Staples Park, and Zurites Park.

To move this initiative forward, the Village issued a Request for Proposals for the development of the Master Plan. Twelve proposals were submitted, and after a thorough review, staff recommends Upland Design as the top candidate, citing the firm’s strong focus on sustainability and expertise in park development and renovation.

The Village Board will review the Upland Design proposal for the key parks Master Plan at Monday night’s meeting.

This initiative invites families, businesses, and local organizations to adopt a neighborhood block—or even a favorite park—and commit to litter clean-up on your own schedule.

The Village will provide a free starter kit, including gloves, bags, and cleanup tools to support your efforts. By becoming a Block Captain, you’ll lead the way in keeping Lake Zurich looking its best—all while building community pride.

This public protest has been conducted annually for the past 25 years throughout northern Illinois. This post is simply to make residents, motorists and pedestrians aware of the scheduled demonstration to allow time to alter routes to avoid the demonstration if they so choose.

The Village does not issue a permit for this demonstration, nor is one required.
