Gilbert Preschool School Newsletter
August 2019
Bible Verse this Month
“And do not forget to do good and share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased!”
Hebrew 13:16
Welcome!
Welcome to a new school year! We're so excited to have our classrooms freshly painted and the courtyard has fresh flowers and new sod! What a great beginning to this wonderful school year!
This month we will get to know our teachers and classmates and learn the fun routine of preschool! Beginning the 2nd week of school we will have Chapel time once a week. In Chapel, we'll learn bible stories, bible verses , sing and pray together!
Communication is extremely important as we partner along side each other to teach these precious preschoolers. Your child’s teacher will email a weekly newsletter starting the first week of school. Each month, you’ll also receive a school newsletter, through email, that will include important dates and information about what’s happening at Gilbert Preschool. A monthly homework calendar will be in cubbies to go home with the students. This calendar contains fun ideas to help foster what the children are learning in class. Doing these activities helps them to expand their attention span, practice large and fine motor skills, and most importantly, to have fun learning! The homework calendar is yours to use as you like, it's not a requirement.
We are so excited to begin this year with you! Please let us know if you have any questions.
