I took the #1 train on the Red Line up to 96th and Broadway. I walked a couple of blocks before making a right onto W. Houston St., renamed Gilda Radner Way in 2005, and there it was - the iconic red door of Gilda's Club New York City. There, in the middle of Manhattan, it felt familiar and comforting.

Finding a moment of clarity while living with cancer can be a rare occasion. Luckily Gilda's Club member and former teacher Judy Thul found one. It brilliantly helped raise funds for Gilda's Club Twin Cities and filled her with joy and warmth at a neighborhood bowling alley on a frigid January afternoon.
