GHS Engineering Students Named Finalists in ITEEA’s REACH Challenge The Gilford High School “Go Baby Go!” Engineering Team recently discovered that their REACH Challenge project earned an award through the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA). REACH Challenge is an Adaptive & Assistive Technology (AT) design-thinking project for high school STEM programs.  The GHS team of Christian Dumont, Sage Merrill and Claire Bartley worked on the custom seat and 3D printed toy holder for a student's Power Wheel “Go Baby Go” Jeep.

Congratulations to Natalie Fraser for winning the Division II 300m race last weekend for indoor track! Good luck to Natalie competing on Feb. 29 at New England's.

Shelby Cole scored her 1000th point on Tuesday evening in a win over Winnisquam. Congratulations Shelby!

Congratulations to the girls alpine ski team for winning the Division III state title. The boys finished second place in the state.

Senior Class Trip Only 40 students signed up for the trip to whitewater raft. We need at least 65 students to enroll and the payment was due last Friday. Please see Mrs. Boutwell within the next few days to secure your spot. There is also the potential that the Senior trip may move from May 29 & 30 to May 28 & 29. Stay tuned for more information.

Congrats to qualifiers for State swim meet Saturday Laurel Gingrich (50 free-4th place & 100 fly) and Grace Shoemaker (100 fly) along with five additional swimmers who participated in 3 relays (Reagan McIntire, Lauren Sikoski, Catherine Pingol, Claire Bartley and Avery Totten).

Please encourage your child to complete their blizzard bag assignment within 48 hours. Last week, we received 85% (2/6) and 82% (2/7) completion rate. Learners have until the end of the day Monday to turn them in from 2/13. The district needs to receive an 80% completion rate for the day(s) to count. Thanks for your support in getting these completed.

Senior Parents- Yearbook Info Our yearbook printer has provided us with a limited number of extra yearbooks to sell on a first come, first served basis.   You can purchase these books online at  www.jostensyearbooks.com  while quantities last or 5/16/2020, whichever comes first.
