Sunday's Services

Advent Sermon Series

Awake to Wonder

Through December 21

Sunday's Message:

"Prepare the Way"

Matthew 3:1–12

John the Baptist’s bold cry still echoes across centuries: “Prepare the way for the Lord!” His message isn’t just about repentance — it’s about clearing space in our hearts for grace to enter. True preparation for Christmas begins with a change of heart and life.

Advent invites us to slow down, look up, and awaken to the wonder of God’s presence among us. In a season so easily filled with noise and hurry, Jesus calls us to stay alert — to hope renewed, hearts prepared, joy restored, and love made flesh. Each week in this series, we’ll follow the Gospel of Matthew as we learn to awaken again to the beauty of God’s promise, leading us to the joy of Christmas Together.

Lessons & Carols Services

Sunday, December 14 at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m.

Be sure to join us on December 14 as we prepare to remember our savior's birth and look forward to His second return through a service of Lessons and Carols. Using Holy Scripture, congregational song, choir anthems, and instrumental music, we will recall the prophecies and the fulfillment thereof through Christ our Lord.

Advent Devotional

“Grand Miracle” Daily Devotions for Advent

Author: Joel Heck, Inspired by C.S. Lewis

Copies are available in the Rotunda, Narthex, and Church Office. Quotes from C. S. Lewis, alongside Scripture, guide us through these daily devotions for Advent. Each day, Lewis’ words point to the saving, life-changing aspects of Christ’s birth, which he calls “a Grand Miracle.”

Adult Education

“The Words of Advent”

Sundays, December 7-21 – 10:30 a.m.

Led by Pastor Kat Hatting

Each Advent season, we light candles of hope, peace, joy and love as we anticipate our Savior’s birth. More than cliché words that look nice on an ornament, these words frame a robust theological understanding of God’s incarnation in Jesus. Join Pastor Kat as we explore the rich biblical concepts of Advent and how they can shape our lives.

Or, you can make a monetary donation online by selecting “Giving Trees Mission.” Gifts and donations are due by December 7. Contact Pastor Kat or the church office with questions. Thank you for your generosity!
