Our Gingerlily Sparkle quilt sample has
truly been a team effort to make.
The beautiful piecing was done by Mary Grother and the stunning feathers, swirls, and border design quilting was
done by Karen Kaczor of Hawthorne Custom Quilts.
And yes, I'm still whipping down the binding.
Mary and Karen worked together to convert instructions for the star blocks from half-square triangle construction,
to a speed piecing method ... making 4 flying geese units for each block with no waste. The flying geese are trimmed to size for precision piecing with center and corner squares.
