Umbrella Sky Art Arrives to Downtown Coral Gables

Giralda Plaza will be transformed into a vibrant and colorful art experience with the installation of the Umbrella Sky project opening this Friday, July 13th at 6 p.m. Continuing over the next two months, hundreds of umbrellas will gently sway over the newly transformed Giralda Plaza, the pedestrian promenade located at the 100 block of Giralda Avenue. This public art display is made possible through a partnership between the City of Coral Gables, the Coral Gables Community Foundation and the Business Improvement District of Coral Gables.  Read more...
Mobile permit
Mobile Permit Program Takes Service to Your Doors

When you can't come to City Hall, Coral Gables takes the Mobile Permit Program to your doors. Since 2016, more than 500 residents have benefited from this user friendly program, and has become a model program for other local municipalities. The program helps those residents who may need special assistance, such as seniors or those with limited mobility, in obtaining permits for simple home improvement projects. Read more...

Interior Renovation of Branch Library to be Discussed

The Miami-Dade Public Library System will be holding a meeting to present a proposed design concept for the interior renovation of the Coral Gables Branch Library.
