On October 8–9, Tahoma's Bear Metal Robotics team hosted one of the largest STEM events in the Pacific Northwest: Girls Generation. Since 2012, the event has celebrated diversity and gender equality in STEM, giving girls and gender minorities a recognizable role in the FIRST Robotics Competition.
Tahoma High School sophomore Keimani Leonard was recently selected as one of this year's student interns who will help bring Seattle's MLK Day events to life. The Seattle Martin Luther King, Jr. Organizing Coalition is responsible for planning and hosting an array of events for Seattle's January celebration.
Oct. 17–21, 2022 is National School Bus Safety Week! Join us in saying "THANK YOU!" to Tahoma's bus drivers, maintenance crew and dispatch team for keeping our students safe on the way to and from school each day.

We'd also like to thank YOU, our community, for following school bus traffic laws and keeping a watchful eye out for students and buses when you're on the road!
