A Year of Impact! Happy Holidays from Girls Inc. LA!

As the year ends, we want to express our gratitude for helping make this year a big success.

Your belief in our mission helps make our work possible and empowers us to provide consistent high-quality Girls Inc. programming weekly that nurtures the development of girls across six schools, positively impacting hundreds of lives.

This year, the girls we served reported the following:

  • 93% of girls agreed or strongly agreed that "Girls Inc. programming is fun and engaging"
  • 84% of girls agreed or strongly agreed that "Girls Inc. teaches me things I might not learn at school"
  • 85% of girls agreed that "I feel safe and supported at Girls Inc."

With your continued support, we are confident we will have an even greater impact next year. Please consider making an end of year gift to help make 2024 an even bigger success!

We wish you a joyous holiday season and a happy new year!

PROGRAMMING

Fun Friday with PeacePlayers LA

at 93rd Street

Our friends from PeacePlayers LA came out for Fun Friday to play some hoops!

The girls learned about basketball and participated in fun activities centered around leadership and teamwork. To wrap up the day, they enjoyed a delicious burger from the Fatburger food truck.

Thank you to our supporting partners, PeacePlayers LA and S.H.A.U.N Foundation for Girls for making it a memorable Fun Friday!

Tennis Champ Sloane Stephens

Inspires our Middle School Girls

Our partner, FP Movement brought U.S Open Champion Sloane Stephens to share her journey and inspire our middle school girls.

All the girls were excited to learn about her life as a professional athlete and what self-care looks like off the court. The day ended with some fun goodies from FP Movement for our girls.

When asked about pursuing your passion, Sloane said, "You have to focus on one thing and.. go for it and see how far you can go with that."

Building Community

This fall, our Girls Inc. program was focused on getting to know each other and building community amongst the girls.

Through various fun, hands-on activities, girls connected and worked together to accomplish a goal. We had a successful semester with the girls feeling a sense of belonging and connection at Girls Inc.!

Girls Inc. LA aims to foster strong bonds and empower girls to uplift each other.
