Women's Leadership Breakfast

In honor of the International Day of the Girl, we hosted our 4th Annual Women's Leadership Breakfast on October 10th, at Chief's LA Clubhouse.

The morning featured a panel of inspiring women who emphasized the importance of paving the way for girls to grow up with opportunities to flourish and grow with confidence. It was a powerful moment to connect and reaffirm our commitment to challenging societal norms and building new pathways for girls to thrive.

Thank you to everyone who joined us!

PROGRAMMING

Lunch with a Loved One

Last week, we joined one of our newest school partner, 74th Street Elementary, for their annual "Lunch with a Loved One" celebration.

Students invited family and friends to share lunch on campus, creating a joyful afternoon filled with smiles and love.

Our team joined this special day by helping decorate, welcoming families and taking pictures of everyone.

We are proud to deepen our impact in the community by working alongside our school partners to celebrate and support students.

More Girls Inc. During the School Day

Girls Inc. LA is engaging even more girls through our lunchtime enrichment program. Last year, we reached more than 1000 students during lunchtime and will reach even more this year with our expanded footprint.

These sessions are designed to foster a sense of belonging, giving any student the chance to drop in during recess or lunch. Our Program Facilitators lead activities focused on social-emotional development and provide informal mentoring and a safe, supportive space.

Expanding our services to the school day means we can connect with students who may not be able to join after-school programs and give them an opportunity to still be part of the Girls Inc. community.
